Know The Facts.
Four out of every five forests in the Lower 48 states are privately owned. These forests deliver many essential benefits including water, wildlife, wilderness, working landscapes and a well-balanced climate. Tragically, more than 1.5 million acres of these forestlands are converted to shopping malls, subdivisions and other forms of development each year.
Know Our Story.
Since 1993, the Pacific Forest Trust has been dedicated to sustaining America's private working forests and safeguarding their many public benefits.
Yet, the future and fate of these forests is really everyone's concern. So, we ask you to join us and share your support. Together, we can ensure working forests will continue to work wonders for us all.
